Kostenz Monastery

Historic building substance meets modern utilisation concept

A special hotel with a supra-regional conference centre and unique event location is being built in the complex of the Kostenz Monastery that is under a preservation order

Until now, the historic Kostenz Monastery has been run as a conference and recreation centre. Building on the existing customer groups, a supra-regional congress and conference centre with around 90 hotel rooms is being created. The ten modern and variably usable conference rooms provide the best conditions for this. In addition, a unique event location with a wide range of uses will be created in the 300-year-old historic farmhouse. The impressive vaulted hall, in combination with the interior of the three-sided courtyard framed by natural stone walls, allows events for up to 600 guests.

Kostenz Monastery resides in a beautiful secluded location on a 12-hectare forest clearing with a view of the Hirschenstein. In the House of Bavarian History, the manorial estate is listed as one of the most important Bavarian monasteries. We are very pleased about this special addition to our real estate portfolio.
