Ergoldsbach Shopping Centre

During the realisation of the new REWE supermarket, a habitat complex with new stream loops and ponds in a species-rich wildflower meadow covering around 2,500 m² was created in addition to the usable area of 6,400 m². The project was awarded the “Gold Standard” by the German Sustainable Building Council.

Heating and cooling in the entire area is provided very efficiently by heat pumps. Thanks to heat recovery, a large amount of energy is also saved.
